The International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) Global Training Academy and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) Sustainable Cycles (SCYCLE) Programme conducted a joint webinar to increase knowledge and awareness amongst prosecutors of waste crime, its links with other forms of organised criminal activity, the challenges associated with prosecuting such crimes, and also to demonstrate the need to enhance international collaboration to tackle this (non-traditional) form of transnational organised crime
